To prepare painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes with plaster, or removing
old paint by scraping and using sandpaper

To provide decorative and faux finishes as the project requires
To handle planning and prep work in an efficient manner
To move furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the project
To calculate the amount of materials and time required for said project
To remove fixtures such as door knobs and light switch covers.
Tap off areas as needed
To choose and purchasing paint, brushes, and other supplies from vendors.
To clean up supplies and replace fixtures when project is complete.
To communicate with supervisor/manager to ensure they're getting the look they're

hoping for.

To paint the interiors of rooms as required.
To protect all nearby furnishings and building materials with cloth or plastic before and

during every painting job, including carpets, cabinetry, outlet covers, lighting fixtures and
landscaping.

To collaborate with other professional painters on larger jobs.
To practice selfsupervision on small jobs and ensure you complete each project in an

efficient, timely manner

To meet with managers to discuss color and finish options as well as other design details.
To read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount

of work necessary.

To paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools.
Ensure system and data security is maintained at a high standard, ensuring the integrity

of the network is not compromised, in accordance with ISO requirements.
