Key Responsibilities:


Glass Cutting and Shaping:
Operate glass cutting machinery and equipment to accurately cut and shape glass according to specifications.
Use precision tools to create various shapes, sizes, and angles as required by design or customer orders.


Edging and Finishing:
Use grinding and polishing tools to smooth and finish the edges of cut glass pieces.
Ensure that the finished glass components meet the required quality standards in terms of appearance and smoothness.


Assembly and Glazing:
Assemble glass components into larger structures or frames, such as windows, doors, mirrors, and glass panels.


Quality Control:
Inspect glass pieces for defects, imperfections, and measurements to ensure they meet quality standards.
Identify and address any issues that may impact the final product's integrity.


Safety and Maintenance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling glass materials.
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure their optimal functioning.


Collaboration:
Coordinate with other team members, including designers, engineers, and supervisors, to fulfill production requirements and achieve project goals.


Material Handling:
Safely transport, load, and unload glass sheets and components, ensuring mínimal risk of breakage or damage.


Inventory Management:
Keep track of glass inventory and supplies, notifying supervisors when stock levels are low or additional materials are needed.


Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in glass fabrication is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a glass fabricator or in a related field.
  • Proficiency in glass cutting, shaping, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Physical ability to handle and move heavy glass sheets and materials.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Salary:
AED1, AED2,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
