Description
Purchase assistant/ Procurement assistant, is responsible for supporting the procurement or purchasing activities within an organization.

Main duties include assisting in sourcing and selecting suppliers, preparing purchase orders, negotiating terms and prices, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate records of transactions.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, while also seeking cost-effective solutions and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.

Contribute in researching market trends, evaluating vendor performance, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the procurement process.


Responsibilities:


  • Capable of Reviewing Engineering drawing, Preparing BOM, Sourcing, Negotiation, Purchasing experience with domestic (UAE) / Import orders from Outside UAE
  • Ensure timely procurement of raw materials that goes into production as per specification.
  • Coordinate with supplier for adressing complaints on raw material quality.
  • Initiates the ordering for raw materials in shop floor
- including local PO's, outsourcing, machinning & turnkey

  • Education
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering(preferred)

Technical Skills Required

  • MS Office
  • Database Management
  • E-Procurement tools knowledge & experience
  • Quality Assurance
  • Legal & contractual knowledge

Experience:

Minimum (2 YEARS) UAE.

Minimum (2 YEARS) Home country more


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

Home Country: 2 years (required)

  • UAE: 2 years (required)
