Description
Assistant housekeeping managers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their company's housekeeping department.

They commonly work with a team of cleaners to ensure that all areas of the building are properly cleaned and maintained on a regular basis.


Assistant housekeeping managers may also be tasked with managing other aspects of the business, such as hiring new employees or training current staff members in new cleaning techniques.


Assistant Housekeeping Manager Job Duties
An assistant housekeeping manager typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

  • Performing regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, and cleaning bathrooms
  • Supervising and training other members of the housekeeping staff
  • Managing the purchasing and inventory of supplies for the housekeeping department
  • Scheduling and arranging for cleaning services as needed, such as carpet cleaning or extermination services
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure that rooms are ready for guests upon checkin
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate staff member for resolution
  • Preparing rooms for guests by dusting furniture, changing linens, and making beds
  • Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other materials
  • Maintaining a safe working environment for all employees by enforcing company policies and procedures
BHM with 5+ years of experience as Assistant Manager with premium hotels.

AED3, AED3,500.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:
