Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to customers' orders.

Greet customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.

Ensure legal drinking age requirements are met by checking identification.

Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area, including restocking supplies and garnishes.

Utilize bartending equipment to mix and prepare drinks accurately and efficiently.

Follow recipes and standard operating procedures to maintain consistency in drink quality.

Handle cash and credit transactions, process payments, and maintain a cash register.

Monitor alcohol consumption and practice responsible serving.

Engage in friendly conversation with customers, providing attentive and prompt service.

Upsell drink specials and promotions to maximize sales.

Clean and sanitize glassware, bar tools, and workstations regularly.

Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain knowledge of liquor laws.

Collaborate with bar staff and team members to ensure smooth operations.

Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Stay updated on current mixology trends and beverage offerings.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred.

Strong knowledge of cocktails and beverage preparation methods.

Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with customers.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic math skills for cash handling and bill calculation.

Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
