Description
Dark Emerald Studios is working on a narrative platformer game. We're looking for a talented programmer who knows what great gameplay looks, sounds, and feels like.

He/she should be able to work closely with the design team to bring their ideas to life, and should also be able to collaborate with the other programmers to create systems required for the game.


Responsibilities:


  • Developing gameplay systems and prototyping according to designer specifications
  • Creating new gameplay code, as well as maintaining the older systems
  • Creating abstracted and extensible systems
  • Creating editor tools in Unity

Requirements:


  • Proficient in Unity (4+ years)
  • Ability to write performant code
  • Deep understanding of profiling in Unity
  • Deep understanding of Unity Physics

Bonus:

  • Experience with IK and/or procedural animation
  • Experience working on a platformer game
