Education:


  • Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably from the following disciplines: Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain Management

Experience:


  • Mandatory 10 years and above experience in Purchase and Procurement, with minimum 5 years in management positions.
  • Experience in sourcing negotiations, supplier management and contract management is required.

Activités

  • Manage and oversee the procurement activities for TEMME, including category management for Logistic, CAPEX & Indirect.

Areas include but are not limited to:
Logistics & Warehousing, Marketing department's CAPEX & OPEX, HR-Admin and TotalEnergies Qatar's controlled budgets.

  • Define the purchasing strategy within the scope of responsibility.
  • Prepare the annual purchasing plan for the affiliate.
  • Oversee tenders from bidding preparation till contractual finalization.
  • Lead/participate in the tender process, negotiations, tender committees, contract preparation & finalization.
  • Provide stakeholders with supplier management expertise posttender award.
  • Participate & represent function for internal & external audits (e.g. focal point for human rights/sustainability audits with suppliers).
  • Maintain a high standard of professional relationship with internal customers and suppliers.
  • Provide support to the Customer Service, Marketing & Sales, Finance, HR Administration, and where required, to the Plant operations team.
  • Identify KPIs/trainings for the team and drive them towards the achievement of objectives/competencies.
  • Encourage the sharing of procurement process & best practices, so as to elevate the overall knowledge within the team and affiliate.
  • Set an exemplary standard for the organization, in terms of business ethics, compliance, HSEQ & sustainability, etc.

Contexte et environnement

  • The position is a key link between the users and suppliers for goods and services. A high level of cross functional coordination is required to achieve the objectives of the affiliate.
  • Requires high collaboration across different departments locally, and globally across different parties (either APMO Regional office, or TotalEnergies Global Procurement TGP.
  • Requires a very high commitment to ensure the timely supply of goods and services, as it involves activities which directly impact the affiliate operations.
