Description
Salary: 5,000 AED

  • Office Location: Jabal Ali (Transport is provided)
  • 6 months contract temp

Main responsibilities:


  • Organize and schedule transportation vehicles for materials movement utilizing hired transport to ensure timely delivery of raw materials to Ducab sites and dispatch of finished products to customers.
  • Organize clearance of raw materials from ports to ensure they arrive at Company sites on time.
  • Instruct and advise transport companies, shipping agents and forwarders about transport schedules and operational requirements to meet deadlines
  • Process duty exemption for imports to enable their timely clearance
  • Prepare export documentation according to requirements of GCC countries
  • Prepare documentation and vehicle arrangements for intersite export consignments in line with the requirements of Central Logistics for timely and problem free deliveries.
  • Maintain proper records and documents for all imports and export transactions to fulfill audit requirements.
  • Prepare and process various expense claims in line with internal procedures
  • Work closely with yard operations for loading and uploading of raw materials and delivery of finished goods to external customers.

Knowledge and Qualifications:


  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management with specialised training in Logistics Processes
  • Strong understanding of knowledge in International Shipping procedures, Incoterms (2010), Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (AGCC) customs rules and custom clearance procedures. Thorough knowledge of Imports, Exports and Logistics Operations and well versed with PC skills.

Experience:


  • 5 to 7 years of relevant Logistics and Supply Chain experience in the Logistics department in the manufacturing industry, preferably in an ERP environment e.g. SAP, OTM-Oracle Transport Management.
