I am an Arabic speaking doctor, with experience in internal medicine and general practice in private and governmental care settings and Gulf experience.  

Resident doctor in the Department of Medicine at Kosti Teaching Hospital; Ministry of Health White Nile State.

January 2020 to January 2024

Responsibilities: 

As a resident medical doctor in the Department of Medicine, I covered the medicine ER rooms 48 hours a week as a second on-call, covered the ICU and HDU as the first on-call, conducted daily clinical rounds with the clinical team including specialists and house officers and daily discharge clinic sessions; attending once a week referred clinic and major clinical teaching round with the consultants, and seminar discussions; part of rapped response team and COVID19 response team. 

Achievements: 

Mastered the clinical procedures and protocols needed for patient treatment in medicine emergency ICU and DHU rooms with a good outcome; learned to apply the best medical care for the admitted patients in all medicine and achieved a good reduction in mortality and hospital stay with my team we established COVID-19 response in Kosti Teaching Hospital consisting of infection prevention and control, early case detection and management, isolation and respiratory care and management of suspected cases according to MOH and WHO protocols.

General Practitioner at Alhawdag Medical Centre - Khartoum

Responsibilities: 

Alhawdage Medical Center is a private outpatient polyclinic in Khartoum Bahary town; as a general practitioner I am responsible for medical examination requesting laboratory investigations, diagnosis and treatment, and health education regarding the disease and way of prevention of recurrence for patients attending the general practitioner clinic; as a deputy medical director, I was responsible for human resources, logistics procurement, monthly reports to MOH.   

Achievements:

Mastered medical care diagnosis and treatment, management of chronic diseases (Diabetes, Hypertension, Bronchial asthma, COPD, stable heart failure, chronic kidney diseases, etc..); helped patients to control and prevent complications of common and chronic medical conditions; the number of patients attended increased with improvement of client satisfaction

General Practitioner, and medical director at MOH Saudi Arabia - Albaha

March 2010 to November 2017

Responsibilities: 

Qilwa PHC is a governmental Primary health care centre for a population of 3000; as a general practitioner I am responsible for medical examination requesting laboratory investigations, diagnosis and treatment, and health education regarding the disease and way of prevention of recurrence for patients attending the general practitioner clinic; as a medical director, I was responsible for human resources, medical consumable monitoring and request, screening for diseases, follow up with defaulters for immunization and for patients with chronic diseases who missed their appointments; monthly performance reports to Saudi Arabia MOH 

Achievements:

Mastered medical care diagnosis and treatment, management of common health problems for all age groups; helped patients to control and prevent complications of common and chronic medical conditions; achieved the MOH targeted for disease screening; achieved zero defaulters for immunization and chronic diseases, improved chronic disease mortality and morbidity in the catchment area.
