• Oversee the delivery of an effective business partnering function to the Business Unit Leaders
including the line management and development of the Finance Business Partner
• Drive and oversee the annual budgeting and in‑year forecasting processes
• Work with the Finance Business Partner to develop a Budget Management Framework to
analyze the business’ performance and its delivery of a value for money service to its
stakeholders
• Work with the Finance Business Partners to ensure all new initiatives/projects/ business cases
are reviewed and assessed for agreed financial returns on investment and SMART KPIs
Financial Operations
• Work with Business Unit Leaders to help manage service contracts that have been issued to
third parties
• Support Business unit Leaders in negotiating program/ project contracts
• Support the quality assurance of outsourced services with the Business Units Other
• Undertake ad hoc projects and activities to support the company’s overall aim of preparing
young people for the world of work
