I believe in doing and I constantly learn. I have 5+ years of experience as an Engineer in projects like bridges, railway, roads, hotels and interiors.

I can do the complex logics, relations and calculations manually using Excel. And I have 3+ years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

I'm currently working as a Quantity Surveyor in Tristar Engineering and Construction. Sole responsible for all structural calculations in Hafeet Rail Package A and Package B (160+km, ~70 structures and 100+ utility ducts).

My most recurring task is to verify the steel cut and bend BBS sent by sub-contractor for our bridge structures, culverts, retaining walls and utility ducts. I also have to check the bills submitted by subcontractors/ suppliers for items such as concrete pouring, formwork, labour , piling, road markings, scaffolding, trucks and waterproofing. I have to track it with the purchase quantity.

I have had to submit variations for two bridge structures, and I constantly make updates to material requests based on latest IFC / shop drawings. I also prepare site calls when necessary. I update the ROC when new drawings arrive, and I prepare the IPA every month end for all activities on 66+ Kms of the project.

I am pursing a distance master's in quantity surveying. I have been assessed on contracts, RICS, and sustainable construction practices in my first year and my average grade is 67%. I'll complete the master's in early 2027.   

The FIDIC contract and dispute standards are just, reasonable and coherent.
