Project: Bahr El-Bakr Water Treatment Plant

Position: Senior Instrumentation and Control System Engineer. (Construction & Commissioning) (I&C)
From December 2020 to April 2021.
Responsibilities:
• Instrumentation installation for all site sections. (Chemical tanks, dewatering tanks, inline piping instruments, intake).
• Installation for control panels (PLCs, main SCADA system) for Travelling screens, trash racks, disk filters, flash mixers, ozonation system.
• Commissioning and start up activities for instruments and control systems, including testing all signals to local panels and interface signals between local control panel and SCADA.
• Fire alarm system installation, testing and commissioning for all project buildings.
• Cranes commissioning and testing all switches (load sensors, limit switches, control unit).
• Supporting the technical office in shop drawing, material recognition and drawing coordination.
• Coordinate between departments. (Electrical, I&C, Mechanical, Piping).

Project: Assiut Al Waledia Supercritical Power Plant 1X650MW
Employer: ORASCOM Construction
Position: Senior Commissioning Engineer for Instrumentation and Control System (I&C)
From March 2020 to December 2020.
Responsibilities:
• Creation of the commission procedures for systems.
• Coordinate between my company (OC) and consultant (PGESCo)
• Lead all commissioning activities and tests.
• Providing certificates and tests results to the consultant and the client (UEEPC)
Following up all pre commissioning activities.
• Travelling screens pumps commissioning and start up (testing all signals to local panels and interface signals between local control panel and DCS).
• Fire alarm testing and commissioning for all projects buildings.
• Fuel tanks instruments and equipment’s (level transmitters, pumps) commissioning.
• HVAC testing and start up. (Including dumpers control units and protection signals interface with fire alarm system.

Project: New Assuit Combined Cycle Add-On Project – GE 2X250 MW.

Position: Instrumentation and Control System Construction and commissioning Engineer (I&C)
From June 2016 to February2020
EPC Project.
Responsibilities:
• Integration between DCS (ABB) in simple cycle project and the extension of the combined cycle project (ABB interface compatibility with GE).
• Revising all logic connection between old signal and new added signals and permissive signals between ABB drawing and GE new drawing.
• Installation of Instruments and tubing connection to pipelines. ( 8 HRSG, 8 Diverter Dampers, more than 4000 devices all over the plants between tubing devices and piping online devices, more than 500 devices for the steam turbine) .
• Cables routing from field instruments to DCS panels and interface signal cables all over the plant.
• Installation supervision for the diverter dumper control equipment’s (BRADEN).
• Supervision on installation for the SWAS system. (Sampling Water Analysis System)
• Installation of Central Control Room Equipment and network topology hierarchy including fiberoptic connections and Ethernet connection.
• Assist operation and maintenance during reliability test.

Project: New Assuit Simple Cycle Project – GE Frame 9E 8X125 MW
Employer: ORASCOM Construction
Position: Commissioning Engineer for Instrumentation and Control System (I&C)
From April 2015 to June 2016
EPC Project.
Fast Track Project.
Responsibilities:
• Full support for GE Frame 9E turbines during testing, calibration, commissioning and first fire in both the field and Mark VI.
• Revising the Logic design and matching it with Mark VI programming.
• Giving assistance for testing and commissioning for DCS (ABB supply), loop check for BOP including:
o Instruments.
o Communication between DCS and GE turbines and GIS.
o Black start diesel generator 3MW and full function test.
o FOTP (Fuel Oil Treatment Plant).(PLC)
o Hot Water Boiler. (PLC)
o Fire Fighting System.
• Logic revising for ABB software (symphony+), modifying all needed logic diagrams, supplying the As-Built.
