Alaia Goyeneix

I am currently studying at UAL, London College of fashion to learn about fashion sustainability, corporate responsibility and strategic marketing. I created my podcast JollyCouch during my last year to challenge myself in being more proactive, connected and resilient. I am creative and hungry for knowledge.

1. Podcast Host for my show Jolly Couch on well-being and creative entrepreneurs (sept. 2022) I shoot and record episodes with guests. I edit the audio, and videos and publish them on Youtube, Spotify, Apple and Google podcasts. I create clips for TikTok and Instagram and Youtube Shorts.
2. Online brand developer: website creation & social media manager at TERRA GOYA (2020-2021). Managed and designed the brand's visual identity through its website and social media account: designed its logo, entire website, fonts and colour palette as well as flyaways and Instagram ads. I delivered impactful storytelling through the newsletter and organized events for the brand.
3. Working in sales at Galleries Lafayette in the shoe department in Paris (2018: June-August). Working within the shoe department I had to deliver exceptional service to customers by sharing product knowledge, creating a memorable experience and effectively managing complaints when they arose. I was assisting and helping my colleagues in my department. I was aware of my responsibility to go beyond the role's expectations. Our main goal there was customers and their experience whilst avoiding stock loss.
4. Freelance Makeup Artist (2017 - 2021). Created and realized makeup looks influenced by the cinema, the Renaissance and french "savoir-faire". Listening to and analysing my clients' skin and personalities was key to having competitive advantages. Many opportunities grew from showing my work during public events such as weddings and photography projects
5. Waitress at Babzen Meze Turkish Restaurant (2019: 6 months). I was serving international customers, taking payments, making sure the restaurant was kept clean and managing stock flows at all times.
6. APPRENTICESHIPS: 

• IFM PARIS: 1-month in fashion communication (2018): rated fashion shows and realized many storytelling scenarios. 
• ESMOD: 1-month summer in fashion design (2017): fashion drawing and fabric introduction 
• ToTheFit: 2 weeks professional (2016): participated in pattern cutting, online and face-to-face client meetings and designing mood boards.
