Alasdair Smith

I’m a 28 year old male from London with 11+ years in the hospitality industry working with famous chefs such as Jason Atherton. I’ve undergone Forbes training in the past which is crucial in learning about the world of fine dining.

I’ve also worked in high capacity venues with 750+ guests so I know what it takes in terms of quality from the fine dining experiences in working but also about speed and sharpness.

I have a great attention to detail and classic cocktail knowledge.

I’m originally from London and speak a little Spanish and have a great passion for sports outside of work.

I like to keep fit and healthy and I’m 6ft 1inches.

Working my way up from a runner at the age of 15 I’ve been working in the food and beverage industry for over 10 years now. Working on jobs such as cellar management which included training on ales and spirits, line cleaning and ordering/invoicing.

I’ve worked in more senior rolls such as head bartender/bar manager/assistant management of venues with capacities of over 500 guests. Allocation for bookings, stock taking, making of rotas and cashing up was crucial to these rolls as well as of course, customer care. 

GCSE Maths, English, Spanish and Btec level 2&3 in fine arts.
