Ali Ibrahim

From my early career days with Deutsche Bank AG in  Dubai's DIFC where I worked in the regional management office, all the way to my entrepreneurial drive over the past 8 years, I have always been a self starter with a passion for identifying and developing new opportunities in various industries and countries. Over the past 12 years I have worked in banking and finance, research, FMCG (as a producer and distributor), real estate and venture capital. Over the years I have lead or contributed to various fund proposals and lead major investments in diversified industries and markets.

Changing family priorities are leading me permanently back to Dubai and as such I am seeking a high-paced, high-growth opportunity  in which to apply and grow my capabilities.

My professional career started with a corporate position at a top 10 international investment bank before I moved on on an entrepreneurial career path for the past 8 years encompassing a great number of geographies and industries.

At Deutsche Bank's regional management team in Dubai, I worked with senior management on regional projects, research, governance, cost control, risk etc between 2010 and 2013

Since 2014 and under the umbrella of my family owned business I have been working in the fields of Finance, Real-Estate, FMCG production and distribution in Angola and Lebanon mostly but also in the UAE, Greece and other parts of West Africa. I have been personally responsible for the setup of two ventures and  have worked and researched a greater number of other opportunities. My work has seen me interact and manage successful relationships with all types of people from government to blue collar workers, c-suites and ultra high end individuals across various countries and cultures.

I have a Bachelor's in Arts from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon and a Master's in International Business from Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France.

I have completed the CFA level 1 test but have gone short of completing the rest of the certification due to extensive travel over the past years.
