Amandy Cunningham

I am a young Teacher from South Africa with 9 years teaching experience going into 10 years. I am a dedicated teacher who is very professional and loving and responsible individual. I work well as a team member and I enjoy new challenges that will assist me to enhance my skills and knowledge in the education sector. I enjoy reading and exploring new technology as the world is moving to that direction. I am kind and very patient which is one of the reasons I decided to be a teacher 

I have taught in South Africa for the past 9 years and this year I got the opportunity to come to the UAE as a English Teacher. I taught Grade 4 English. I was responsible for planning weekly newsletters and lesson plans and activities for students. I was also responsible for planning Assessments. I ensured that teaching and learning took place everyday.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Foundation Phase. I attended Embury Institute for Teacher Education which is a teaching college now known as Stadio and it is a very prestigious institution as we are taught both theory and practical skills in Education
