DENTAL AND PAEDIATRIC HEALTH CAMP:

During this period of work a month long dental health and paediatric health awareness program was conducted by A.B Shetty Memorial Institute Of Dental Sciences, Derlakatte along with the coordination of K. S Hegde Hospital, Mangalore.

•The main objective was to provide basic dental health education to the school children and motivate dental hygiene maintenance.

•Awareness about dental health and paediatric health was provided along with consulting, educating and necessary treatment for the needy school students and rural population of Nitte and surrounding villages.

•This camp is carried out with the curiosity to find out the prevalence of dental diseases in primary school children with deciduous dentition and early mixed dentition.
