Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling and assisting sales activities for a cluster of three Marriott properties, including Aloft and Element Meaisam, and Aloft Dubai South.
  • Maintain accurate records of hotel occupancy and implement strategic actions to optimize revenue generation.
  • Manage leisure group bookings, including reservations, payments, and ensuring seamless operations using Opera system.
  • Utilize Excel to track and analyze group business, ensuring efficient management and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Foster positive relationships with sub-departments to ensure the smooth execution of group events and bookings.
  • Handle incoming business inquiries via telephone, email, OneSource, and Cvent channels, qualifying leads and coordinating with relevant team members for follow-up.
  • Lead long-stay business initiatives for Element Meaisam, including lead qualification, negotiation, and conversion, contributing significantly to the hotel's long-stay revenue stream.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to stay informed about rates offered by compset hotels and inform pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Responsible for managing the long-stay segment for three hotels, driving a 15% increase in occupancy from May 2023 to present.
  • Generate weekly reports for the Director of Sales (DOS) on group and long-stay business performance.
  • Prepare contracts and manage administrative tasks related to group bookings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide support to team members with system-related assistance in Opera and Excel.
  • Manage FIT-leisure bookings by issuing flash sales and implementing stop sales based on current demand.
