About Ashini Manawadu:

I am Ashini Nuwandika Manawadu. I have an MSc in Applied Statistics and a BSc degree in Information and Communication Technology. I am a qualified Administration Officer in Creative Solution in Dubai and I have more than six months experience as an Administrative Officer in Samurdhi Bank.  I am a qualified Documentation Controller with three years experience gained within the  Orel IT and  Research Assistant with one year experience within the Rice Research and Development Institute.

 

During my various administration jobs, I have developed strong organization and time management skills, which would be very useful for all companies which I worked for.  I have experience working with vendors, clients, and investors, along with each department in the company, to coordinate and carry out multiple projects from beginning to end. I have excellent oral and written communication skills that make it easy to keep all functions within the department running smoothly and efficiently. 
 

I am specializing in setting up and  implementing document control systems in project and corporate environments.  Within my 4 years of  professional experience I have handled project documentation from the client and manager side. I handled month - end close procedures and assisted with budgeting, pay rolling and forecasting on a monthly basis. 

 

In that role, a major accomplishment I am most proud of was that I was able to reduce the time spent on month end procedures by developing an Excel model which automated a major accounting process. This resulted in a time saving of approximately one day per month. I have the skills needed to ensure daily administrative tasks are being performed proficiently and knowledge of what equipment, programs, etc. is needed to create a modern and well-run office.

 

I am looking for a more productive role that suits my skills and ability to grow further. I am a quick learner and ready to take new challenges required to perform better.
