• Led the Information Technology Hardware & Software Development Team as Director of IT & ERP, managing 15+ IT engineers/developers and overseeing functions such as Hardware, System Administration, Networking, Firewall, VOIP & Cloud VPC Infrastructure, and Software Development for the group of companies in UAE, Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, Netherlands and India.
• Implemented and maintained the Epicor ERP for Alucor group of companies since 2008, covering domains such as Manufacturing, Fabrication, EPC, Oil & Gas, Trading, Dewatering & Marine. This involved technical and functional expertise in new company setup, configuration, BPM, BAQ, Customizations & Maintenance. Introduced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Robotic Process Automation (UiPath), and developed in-house applications using Python Django, Android/Angular frameworks to optimize business operations and enhance efficiency by integrating with ERP using Rest API.
• Led cross-functional teams to analyse operation impact and opportunities for technology changes across all Divisions. Introduced open-source, low-code/no-code platforms, Robotic Process Automation - UiPath, Approval Workflows using BPMN and Angular/Android/Python programming frameworks to automate tasks and digitally transform business processes.
