I am a PhD candidate in Surgery at Tsinghua University, China, currently assisting in advanced clinical research at the Evidence-Based Medicine Research Center (EBMRC). My background includes an MBBS, a Master’s in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, and Part 1 clinical residency rotations across surgical departments. In addition to my academic and surgical training, I have hands-on experience collaborating with healthcare officials and hospital leadership on projects related to patient safety, surgical checklists, and healthcare quality improvement. This has allowed me to develop strong skills in implementation science, clinical research, and multidisciplinary problem-solving. At present, I am seeking career opportunities in the UAE/Dubai healthcare sector to relocate and build my career, with a long-term goal of practicing surgery after completing the licensing pathway.
