Roles and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the tank construction activities and ensure compliance with construction schedules, drawings, job specifications and report to the Project Manager.
• Quantity survey for tankage project material (Plates /steel structure/pipes /paint material etc./ valves / gratings etc.), mechanical consumables & store items and ensure all materials are procured and available in due time.
• Responsible for manpower & equipment’s mobilization and demobilization according to the available work front and actual requirement at site.
• Preparation of PMS (Project management schedule) for tankage works .
• Reviewing vendor documents like as Drawings, technical specification, Material data sheet, Qc documents (ITPs, Procedures) etc.
• Preparation of various documents i.e., Material approval request, RFQs, Method Statements etc.
• Coordination between site staffs (Engineers, supervisors, foremen etc.) as well as Project manager.

• Study and review of Mechanical drawing like as Storage tank drawing & steel structure drawings, (General arrangement, drawing, fabrication drawing etc.).
• Review /Preparation of cutting plan for minimizing wastage for the fabrication work.
• Reviewing As-built drawing & variation order as per actual site condition.
• Ensure and verify the raw material prior to use for fabrication (ie size, thickness, and specification/grade)
