About Dinushika Wijesinghe:

 

I am an English teacher and currently live in Abu Dhabi, UAE with 9 years of experience as a  Sri Lankan government teacher of English language with a Higher National Diploma in Teaching in English offered by the National Institute of Education which recruits teachers to Srl Lankan government schools, a Bachelor of Arts in English (specifically designed for teachers) provided by the University of Sri Jayawardhanapura and a Master of Teaching Literature in Second Language Context offered by The Open University Sri Lanka with an ongoing research component.I am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher looking forward to acquiring international experience to broaden my scope and expertise.

Education

I follow MA in teaching English Literature in Second Language Context offered by Post Graduate Institute of English, The Open University Sri Lanka.The PGIE’s MA in TLSC is a unique programme and is currently the only Master of Arts programme dedicated to the Teaching of Literature (in a Second Language Context) (TLSC) available anywhere across the region. I have completed the Postgraduate Diploma, the first year with 3.15 GPA and currently working on mt research.
