With over 15 years of experience as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade(Government of Ontario, Canada), I successfully designed, launched and delivered a number of significant innovation programs. I also gained a deep understanding of policy and strategy development and implementation. I bring a solid scientific background, collaborative mindset and experience of stakeholder management in government, non-for-profit and private business environments. I hold both an MBA and a PhD.

Experience

  • Designed and implemented the Regional Innovation Centres program to support technology entrepreneurship: created program guidelines and funding-for-performance approaches, developed client performance evaluation and program evaluation frameworks to measure program impact. Designed and finetuned evaluation options working with various areas, using newly created (experimental) and established approaches.
  • Led stakeholder engagement strategies, built partnerships to enhance program success, managed client accounts. Established streamlined operational procedures and compliance frameworks to ensure program efficiency.
  • Launched the Strategic Opportunities and the Sector Innovation Centres programs, to position Ontario as a global leader in emerging tech sectors and drive innovation ecosystem growth.
  • Prepared and delivered high‑impact presentations on economic outcomes of innovation programs and public‑sector best practices to international government delegations.
