Public Relations professional with 2+ years of experience with agency and public relations background who worked with 5+ US/EMEA/ASEAN B2B tech companies to build awareness and media placement in Southeast Asian markets. 

My job is to find stories and tell them in a way that positively positions your brand at the forefront of conversations in traditional and digital media. This means finding the Venn diagram's sweet spot of your business's value proposition and current media trends. 

Having worked remotely for the majority of my career, I've developed a versatility that enables adaptability irrespective of time and place, taking advantage of the same enterprise technology that I have pitched for e.g., Zoho Cliq, Zoho Workdrive. 

What I do that makes a difference: I don't sell products, I build images and reputation. Building thought leadership that accentuates your value proposition is weaving the views that your products entail into the tapestry of the media narrative. My skill is transmuting this value proposition into articles, interviews and discussions in the media. 

In addition, my Masters degree in Business Information Systems from Monash University Malaysia equips me with the technical know-how that B2B tech businesses require, facilitating the translation of technological complexity into narrative simplicity.

As a multicultural Egyptian who was born and raised in Kuwait with a British degree in Public Relations earned in Malaysia, having travelled across Indonesia, Cambodia, India, and Sri Lanka, I am a melting pot where both East and West seamlessly pour.

During my free time, I enjoy harnessing my storytelling and public speaking by partaking in Toastmasters competitions. I placed 3rd at the Toastmasters' impromptu speech contest's national level in 2020 held in Malaysia, and I placed 1st at the Toastmasters's speech evaluation contest's national level in 2021 held in Kuwait.

I was also a TEDx speaker during my time as a student at Sunway University in 2018.

● Supervise, coach and groom a team of account executives in hard and soft skills relevant to client servicing role. 

● Develop media pitches and storylines together with the team and provide guidance and quality control in the preparation of content.

● Manage and maintain client relationships and act as the point of contact for external media.

● Research recent industry trends relevant to clients and how the clients’ value proposition fits in said trends to secure coverage. 

● Research recent national policies relevant to clients to develop pitches relevant to said national policies and client value proposition to position clients as thought leaders. 

● Plan, present and execute PR strategy including press coverage and media hospitality events. 

● Generate reports to conduct trend analysis and maintain SoV against competitors above 50% monthly.
