• Responding to fire alarm and emergency calls to extinguish fires and rescue individuals.
• Standing by with fire extinguishers or other firefighting equipment during hot work activities
• Ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and ready for emergency response.
• Cleaning and maintaining the fire stations, apparatus, and equipments
• Monitoring the control room communication systems in the fire station on shift basis.
• Responding to incidents involving hazardous materials and implementing decontamination procedures
• Participating in fire drills
