I am Gopakumar Karnavar from India-Kerala.  I have 21 years of extensive experience for the Camp operations and maintenance management, Facility management especially in the Oil & Gas industry (Offshore & onshore) and Civil and MEP constructions in various projects for different countries. 

•  Responsible for Camp Operations and maintenance, Lobour welfare ,  Purchase department, Inventory and inventory control, Warehouse management, Camp accommodation, General affairs & Common Facility), Maintain and frequently review Worker Welfare performance data and generate performance reports, charts and graphs, and provide regular performance reports .Housekeeping Management, make a plan for mobilization and demobilization records, Employee’s camp check in & out request verify and allocate the rooms, camp walk-through, award programs, worker welfare events and camp committee meetings. Daily man days and meal control sheet verify and approve, Checking the Monthly Progress Invoice, Monitoring for the Mess Management, Vehicle Management,  Site/Camp Clinic, Transport Management, Store & Safety Management, waste management, Pest control of facilities, horticulture, Sewage Treatment, Food safety policy, Self-hygiene, Housekeeping standards, Laundry services, arrange to Safety awareness Programmers & Labor welfare, submitting daily and monthly reports to Head office, inventory reports preparation and maintenance, local purchase of materials for the camp maintenance, preparation of daily meal man-day reports and Payroll management, Camp Management Standard, Labours Mental Health(Counseling & Guidance) , Human Rights, Grievance Management and Dispute Resolution. Monitor & check the activities throughout the facility via CCTV .
• In Qatar petroleum, JGC Barzan camps Supervising and controlling all of the four numbers of labour camps including staff camps, villas, and family accommodation. (With the Capacity of 27000 numbers of Employees and 38 numbers of different nationalities) staying in  Raslaffan, Handling the Labour and Staff camps and they were divided (Room allocation) in four categories of Top Management, seniors& juniors, Skilled Labours and Unskilled Labours. Room allocation arrangements and plans were made as per to the Nationality and their Language it has been kept the priority for Skilled Labours and Unskilled Labours alone. Co-ordinate with all camp boss, site Admin, H.O. Admin for accommodation as well as transportation and taking care of daily admin work of Camp. Making a food menu with the cooperation of Catering Department as per the Nationality, Closely monitors the Camp accommodation and food standard in all of the Camps and reports deficiencies immediately to the catering Teams for intervention, in collaboration with Camp operations manager, SHES specialists dedicated to camps.Hiring new camps as per the company requirements Meet with the absentees to understand and motivate to report to work. Visit all HRS employee accommodations/camps to conduct welfare related activities
• Manage the camp occupancy in liaison with Site construction representative. Actively participates to the HSE, KPI (Key performance indicator) & HACCP (Hazard analysis and critical control points) & standard implementation. Dealing the Sub Contractors for their Staff Accommodation and making the monthly Invoices to charge the Sub Contractors. Dealing with the Catering Companies and discussing the issues about the food if any complaints and maintaining the Hygiene food.
