Piping Engineer with more than 17 years of experience in Oil and Gas and Petrochemical Industries with multi-skilled expertise in Design of Plant Piping with specialization in Piping Layout, Project Engineering Coordination and Plant Engineering. Have extensive experience in Oil and Gas Installations both Onshore and Offshore. Well conversant with international standards like ASME, ASTM, API, NACE and various Company Standards such as Shell DEPs, KOC, QP, ADNOC standards. Project 1- Gathering Centre (GC 32) Project, US$1.3 billion, KOC – Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait 

The lump-sum engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project, valued at approximately US$1.3 billion, is the first sour gathering centre to be developed in the field and will process crude oil and associated gas recovered from the Arifjan, Marat, Minagish Oolite and Burgan Wara high Hydrogen Sulphide fields.

The scope of work for GC 32 includes greenfield activities with tie-in works to existing brownfield infrastructure and will have the capacity to produce around 120,000 barrels of oil per day together with associated water, gas and condensate.

Responsibility and Achievements:

• Worked as Deputy lead engineer.
• in charge of complete brownfield scope and ensure the execution of early tie-ins by coordinating with Projects, Constructions and Procurement team to ensure availability of all material on time as per the execution plan.
• Conducted Model review workshops for client at 30%, 60% & 90% and 100% stage
• Conducted workshops for Constructions to facilitate understanding of brownfield scope of works and execution. 
• Participated in Plot plan reviews and other Design reviews.

Project 2- Manifold Group Trunkline (MGT) System for GCs 29,30 & 31, US$750 Million, KOC - Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait

An engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project integral to KOC’s plans to increase and maintain crude production over the next five years. Three new gathering centers (GCs 29,30 & 31), which form part of the broader project, are already under construction. When complete, the MGT system will provide feedstock to each of the GCs via three independent networks of intermediate manifolds and pipelines. Each of the three GCs will be capable of producing around 100,000 barrels of oil per day together with associated water and gas.

Responsibility and Achievements:

• Lead Piping Engineer on the project
• Review of contract to understand scope of work, manpower mobilization planning, activity planning and work allocation, preparing deliverable register
• Interaction with client, co-ordination with Value Engineering Centre and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensured quality of job while maintaining budget and schedule. 
• Progress reporting, guide and supervise a team of engineers and designers
• Review and preparation of piping design basis and piping specifications, review of P&ID’s, Piping & Instrument interface drawings, design review of all piping documents like Plot plans, Piping Plans, 3D model, assist project team on potential variation claims, checking and review of piping material specification and datasheets for valves, issuing inquiry & purchase requisitions. 
• Evaluated vendor offers, review of Technical Bid Evaluations, review, and management of piping MTO

Project 1-Ras Laffan Port Expansion Project, US $1.3 Billion, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar. 

• Overall scope of work included 5 Km of Product pipe rack designing with Piping at the Jetty terminals. 
• Worked as lead piping engineer for the project. Responsibilities includes work scheduling, manpower planning, updating of plot plan, preparation of equipment and piping layout, delivery of documents as per project milestones, seeking technical clarifications from client/principals, review of vendor drawings, daily interaction with project management, leading a team of engineers and designers.

Project 2-FEED for HEXENE-1 Services for Borouge, Ruwais, UAE 

• Overall scope of work included feed services for upgradation of existing system by addition of a new Storage Tank and associated facilities. 
• Worked as lead piping engineer for the project. Responsibilities includes work scheduling, manpower planning, updating of plot plan, preparation of equipment and piping layout, delivery of documents as per project milestones, seeking technical clarifications from client/principals, daily interaction with project management, leading a team of engineers and designers. 

Project 1- Safaniya Ph.-II (Offshore) Field Development, US $1.6 Billion, Aramco, Saudi Arabia.

• Overall scope of work included addition of 17 new Well-Head and Tie-in Platforms and upgradation of existing 20 Well Head platforms.
• Worked as Deputy lead piping engineer for the project. Responsibilities includes work scheduling, manpower planning, updating of plot plan, critical model reviews preparation of equipment and piping layout, delivery of documents as per project milestones, overseeing brownfield modification of 20 No platform.

Project 1- El Merk Field - Central Processing Facilities (CPF), US $3.2Billion, Groupment Berkine/ Sonatrach Anadarko Association, Algeria.

Worked as Engineer -Piping and job responsibility included.

Project 1 – Port Arthur Refinery Complex Expansion Project, Motiva PARCEP, Texas, USA 

Worked as Layout and Stress Engineer and Job responsibilities included:

• Plot/Equipment Layout –compressor, air coolers, heaters and API pumps 
• Piping layout and stress analysis of high temp. Piping air coolers, Vacuum Transfer Line, Lines connected to Coke Drums, Compressors & Turbines, and heat – exchangers along with High Temp Pumps 
• Isometric checking and bulk material control 
• Static analysis of flare system due to wind and seismic loads.

Project 2 – JERP_CPP (Jamnagar Export Refinery- Captive Power Plant), Reliance Petroleum, Jamnagar, India

                            Worked as Layout and Stress Engineer and Job responsibilities included:

• Piping layout and stress analysis of high temp. Piping air coolers, turbines, boiler piping and IBR compliant piping 
• Isometric checking and bulk material control 
• Static and modal analysis of critical system 
• Critical/ Non-critical Piping supporting.
