I am a Humanities teacher, having a 5 years’ work experience of teaching students from various age groups. I have taught different subjects however; my expertise is in teaching History. I believe that my education from IOE, UCL (which has been one of the best universities in the world for Education) has enabled me to develop perspectives and lenses that foster critical thinking. I aspire to deliver the best of my knowledge to my students in the most creative ways and make them critical, empathetic and ethical citizens of the world. Moreover, my passion and love for teaching helps me develop a relationship of trust and comfort with my students. My teaching journey started from teaching o-levels students at a school in London, and since then I have seen myself grow better every day sometimes by learning from my own mistakes, by observing other teachers or sometimes from my students. My philosophy of teaching is primarily based on building strong relationship with my students and being open towards my own learning because I believe that students only learn from the teachers they trust. The purpose of applying for this job is to explore more teaching and learning opportunities in new contexts. 

I have taught in different classroom settings including classrooms, workshops, camps etc. my teaching experience also includes teaching university level professional teachers as well as secondary students in Pakistan and United Kingdom. My expertise is in Humanities subjects including History, literature, philosophy. religious studies, social studies, education. 

I have a double masters degree in Teaching and an MA in Education from one of top rated universities in the world University college London. Currently I have also started bachelors in Education degree as well.
