Jack G. Labajo

I'm Jack De Gracia Labajo, 43 yrs old working in Electrical field, especially in an oil field project. My last project was Offshore Substation Platform as an Electrical Commissioning at Ras al Khaimah, RAK Maritime City. 220 kV GIS Circuit 1,2 and 3 (ABB), 66 kV GIS Circuit 1, 2, and 3 (ABB) with Transformer 220/66kV, 390MVA (Koncar), Relay Protection Panels ,and LV Switchgear. During my last project, I intense to meet the deadline schedule with the subcontractor however, I'm proud of myself for the ability to preserve and overcome any challenges as they come up.

-Inspect, pre-commission, commission, and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and associated control systems and power circuits, switchgear, and emergency system.

-Support execution of Mechanical completion walk-down, pre-commissioning, and commissioning procedures for the assigned electrical tasks.

-Acceptance of Mechanically complete sub-system package from construction and familiarity with system limit definition

-Punch list management and responsibility of offered sub-system/systems to close items against contractual requirements.

-Complete all relevant project documentation.

-Review/witnessing of inspection test records and prior experience and knowledge of complete systems on how to be close out.

-Read, interpret and work from vendor documentation project drawings, schematic and single line diagrams, and equipment manuals.

-Experience with low, medium, and high voltage switchgear 

-Understanding and knowledge of HVAC systems.

-Commission lighting and small power system.

-Maintain records and prepare weekly reports on Electrical Instrument and Telecom systems

-Analyze work problems and make corrections which will facilitate the completion of systems

-Maintain equipment records and input to the commissioning spare parts inventory and identification of any special tool requirements.

-Coordinate activities with other departments and staff.

-Established positive working relationships with immediate supervision and personnel from other Departments and with the other contractor.

-Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written. Be able to follow oral and written instructions.

-Read, understand and follow permit to work procedures and participate in task risk assessments prior to starting new activities.
