James Hensman

As a fresh graduate, I was eager to explore the industry and develop as a professional. This now seems an age ago as I was fully engrossed as a Lighting Engineer for two and a half years. Even despite this, I still feel that same passion to implement my knowledge, learn more and grow even further in my career.

My education coupled with over two years of professional experience in the Lighting industry as a Lighting Engineer has aided me in developing expertise and skills related to lighting layout designing, specification selection, lighting control-related documentation, lighting simulations, power-based calculations, renderings, preparing BOQs and pricing quotations, to name a few. I was also very heavily involved in the content creation for marketing activities.

 Working on a wide variety of residential, hospitality, commercial, industrial and abstract projects has provided me with invaluable experience since it exposed me to a range of conditions. This in turn has helped me further develop my problem-solving capabilities, handle different processes and challenges, deal with different clients and professionals and get a better overall perception of the industry. I believe that the diverse responsibilities I handled have enhanced my standing as a professional. This will help me add further value to the company too.

Obtained a BSc. Eng. (First Class Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Kingston University, London.
