About Janeeshla Jugmohan:

I am an experienced Mathematics Lecturer at Higher Colleges of Technology, de Montford
University and Zayed University in UAE in the Foundation, GARD Mathematics Division as well
as the Mathematics and Statistics Dept.
I worked in the preparatory programme in HCT for the degree programs in Science, Business
and IT related courses to prepare students for success in their studies. As the System-wide
Teaching Lead, I was responsible for providing instructional leadership for the Applied Math Department.
I coached and supervised system-wide Applied Mathematics teachers, set the system-
wide FWA exams, set system-wide tests, moderated, co-ordinated projects.
I also worked to teach, develop, and lead on the IYZ Maths Study Skills module at De Montfort
University Dubai for foundation students using Mathematical software MathLab.
I was also responsible to provide effective high quality instruction in various Mathematics
courses both F2F and online, preparing materials, overseeing practical work, assigning tasks,
grading tests and projects, and offering additional support to students, focusing on a
methodical approach, critical thinking, teaching skills, organization and attention to student
needs.
