I’m an academician with a PhD in Applied Linguistics and Corporate Communication and with over 23 years of tertiary teaching experience, out of which 20 years have been spent in teaching English, Business and Technical Communication, Research Methods, English for Academic Purposes ( EAP), Creative Writing, Literary Criticism, Discourse Analysis, Semantics, Aesthetics, Syntax, Pragmatics, Rhetoric, Stylistics, Critique Paper, and Applied Linguistics and Literature for Bachelor and Master level students in universities such as The American University in Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), American University in the Emirates (AUE), American University of Sharjah (AUS, in the Writing studies Dept.), and other reputed Higher Education organizations as an Assistant Professor ( Senior Lecturer) in a diverse and pluralistic work space.

Currently, I’m into Emiratization projects in the UAE, training Nationals in the corporate sectors of govt. and semi govt. organizations such as MUBADALA, ADNOC, ENOC, EGA, MOHRE, DA ( Dubai Airports),ADEK etc. through CERT, Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE. 

I’m a higher education professional in the UAE for the past 20 years, currently working as Corporate training specialist in the  Emiratisation program.

I hold a Doctorate degree (PhD) in Applied Linguistics and Corporate Communications.
