I am a Civil Engineering graduate with 16 years of Estimation Experience in Fitout industry. I have worked on both small and large scale project .I am looking for a better job opportunity  as Estimation Engineer or Pre contract QS.

Interior Fitout

• Estimating & Costing of all Interiors, Fit out & Joinery packages.
• Highly proficient in tendering, Quantity surveying and contracts administration.
• Efficient and high mathematical skills in solving estimation and surveying issues.
• Preparing Quotations, Attending pre/post tender meetings and finalizing.
• Preparation of Variations. 
• Acknowledge the tender, book in the tender documents and check the documents for missing scope.
• Mark up the enquiries to be sent out for quotations and ensure this is done quickly ·
• Select suitable subcontractors for the works taking into consideration volume of work and location.
• Set up the BOQ ready to price.
• Contact the key supply chain contractors to discuss the project and any technical issues
• Review the tender and propose alternatives / value engineering options to be coasted ·
• Carry out bulk measure checks and pick up any scope missing from the BoQ and ensure this is incorporated into the price.
• Visit site and carry out a site report summary of access/egress. Locations for site establishment and understand logistically how the project will be run.
• Distribute any addendum information to the relevant sub-contractors · Raise tender queries to the consultants where necessary.
• Compile the prelims book with input from the production team on suitable staffing levels.
• Analyse the quotations and prepare a summary report of all the quotations received.
• Evaluate the H&S obligations and ensure we price the job accordingly. Produce a risk register on jobs which are logistically challenging.
• Settle the tender with the Estimating Manager / Commercial Director · Provide training to the Trainee Estimators.
• Produce a profit forecast at tender stage · Produce a list of tender clarifications for submission.
• Finalize the price and submit the tender on time. Arrange courier if necessary.
• Undertake project de-briefs from live jobs to understand the difficulties encountered from tender price to actual cost.
• Produce a settlement pack of information on large value projects (over 50 million) including a project summary, programme information, prelims information, tender cost analysis, risks, clarifications. 
• Coordinate with Design Team & Finalize on Interior finishes& FF&E finishes
• Coordinate with Client & Finalizing the Tender.
• Team building and maintaining good relation with colleagues at the project /sites.
