Anesthesia Technician with 10 years of extensive experience in performing technical
functions associated with the administration of anesthesia. Prepares and sets equipment
for anesthesia procedures according to established protocols.
Natural ability to assist anesthetists with monitoring, induction and intubation of patients. Proven success in providing assistance in the preparation of supplies and maintenance of equipment and anesthesia delivery systems.

Experience

Provide technical and clinical support to the anesthetist during induction, maintenance and extubation from anesthesia and assist in patient resuscitation in emergencies. Identify and administer anesthesia and related equipment, remove and replace equipment for safe administration of anesthesia. Ensure availability and availability of all medications and IV fluids during anesthesia. Participate in patient care to transfer and position the patient. Answer phones, contact surgeons, schedule surgeries, prepare and set up for scheduled and emergency cases. Coordinate daily duties and allocations of anesthesia technicians and prepare staff rosters to cover all anesthetic areas
