My partner has just accepted a job in Dubai as a dance instructor, at an academy right next to Sports City, and I shall be flying out with her around the 23rd of August. 

This joyous predicament has me looking for work as a Sports Coach and/or Outdoor Activity Instructor. I am already qualified to instruct archery, high ropes and climbing walls, rifling and fencing, although I also coach many other sports without qualifications, including football, roller-skating, table tennis, laser tag and many more.

If you’re reading this after my CV, you’ll have an understanding for the level of motivation that goes into my work. I’ve been in leadership roles throughout my working life and I’m currently setting up my own outdoor activities and entertainment company that will run for 7 weeks of the year during the British summer. 

My coaching of sports and outdoor activities has earned me awards, promotions, job offers and many other opportunities. I have a flair for people, able to understand what will make somebody feel comfortable, confident, happy or interested. I get regularly told by guests that my sessions are the best they’ve ever witnessed. I got mentioned in a review a few days ago from a family who’d been here on a week-long holiday, who’d experienced the whole holiday park, and their entire review was “Joe on the bungee trampoline was amazing.”. I’m not even sure who it was as I give everybody the same level of passion and entertainment, but the bungee sessions only last 5 minutes, and yet in that time I managed to become the highlight of their holiday. 

This is not a one-off comment either, I use that example as it’s the last one I’ve been shown. I have broken records for number of mentions in guest feedback at multiple holiday parks. One parent once wrote in their feedback “Not everyone gets to experience life having a hero they can look up to, at least I can live happier now knowing my son has a hero in Joe.” 

Every day I’m in work I make new “best friends”, I know that may sound a bit cringe, but the kids love me, and that allows me to bring the best out in them. It only ever takes one call from me and I can have an entire group of kids sat around me listening. Whilst doing this I’m also able to entertain the parents on the side-lines, with witty jokes and references. 

I hope this doesn’t come across as too boastful, I'm searching for a company needing what I can provide, and if I can surround myself with like-minded people, I’ll hopefully be able to improve my game even further. Please refer to my CV for qualifications and work history etc.

Years of managerial experience starting at the age of 18, leading teams and offices in sales and market research environments. Went into outdoor activities and sports at 24 and was able to translate a lot of skills across whilst redeveloping myself into a top tier coach.

Educated myself on the job and through research/observation.
