I am a native French educator with over 15 years of international teaching experience across primary, secondary, and higher education. I currently teach French at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 at Al Ain English Speaking School in the UAE, where I also contribute to pastoral care and the Moral Education curriculum.

Prior to this, I spent nearly a decade teaching French at Cardiff University, delivering courses from beginner to advanced levels, while simultaneously working in secondary education as an MFL teacher and cover supervisor in Welsh schools including Archbishop McGrath Catholic High School and St. Teilo’s Church-in-Wales High School.

Earlier in my career, I worked extensively as a supply teacher across primary and secondary schools, gaining broad experience teaching students from Reception to Year 13 and across multiple subjects, while specializing in Modern Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, and German). During this period, I completed several long-term MFL teaching placements, delivering French up to Key Stage 5 and Spanish and German at Key Stage 3.

I also taught French at Ebbw Vale Comprehensive School, where I worked with students from Key Stage 2 to Post-16 and coached the school rugby team, and completed my PGCE placement teaching French at Tonyrefail Comprehensive School.

Earlier professional experience includes working as a tennis coach in France, training children and teenagers aged 5–19, which helped develop strong skills in youth mentoring, discipline, and teamwork

I hold a PGCE in Secondary Modern Foreign Languages from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, which qualified me to teach French in secondary education. I also obtained a degree in Business and Administration from Paris 12 University, France.

My earlier education includes the French Baccalauréat, covering a broad academic curriculum including languages, humanities, and social sciences.

In addition, I am a certified DELF examiner and corrector, accredited under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), enabling me to assess French language proficiency according to international standards.
