My name is Klenia P. Alaba, and I am a dedicated and passionate teacher with a strong commitment to fostering educational excellence and holistic development in my students. As a mother of two, I bring a unique perspective to my teaching practice. The patience, empathy, and understanding I’ve cultivated while raising my children are invaluable assets that I apply in my professional life. This experience has enhanced my ability to connect with my students, appreciate their individual needs, and support their growth both academically and personally.

As a teacher, my intrapersonal goal is to continuously enhance my emotional intelligence, enabling me to better understand and respond to my students' needs. Professionally, I aim to be an innovative educator who inspires a lifelong love of learning in my students. I plan to pursue a master's degree to deepen my expertise and broaden my impact as an educator.

My values are deeply rooted in Christian and Catholic beliefs, emphasizing compassion, integrity, and respect for all individuals. I believe in the importance of nurturing not only the intellectual but also the moral and spiritual development of my students, guiding them to become responsible and ethical members of society.

I have a strong interest in upgrading my skills and continuously learning new things. I am currently planning to undertake masteral studies to enhance my professional capabilities and widen my knowledge base. In my leisure time, I enjoy cooking, baking, and exploring new hobbies such as learning to play musical instruments. These activities not only provide personal fulfillment but also serve as creative outlets that I can share with my students, enriching their learning experiences.

My advocacies include promoting literacy, encouraging environmental awareness, and supporting mental health initiatives within the school community. These goals are achievable and essential for the overall well-being and development of my students.

My most recent position as a Teacher and Grade Level Adviser at Casa Del Libro, Inc. allowed me to hone my skills in creating a supportive and structured learning environment. I provided personalized instruction to students with learning disabilities and designed comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. My role required detailed record-keeping, report writing, and consistent communication with parents and guardians, which further developed my administrative abilities.

Prior to this, I served as a Virtual Support Professional at Daivergent, where I provided remote support to job-seekers with disabilities in the US. This position required excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. My experience in this role enhanced my ability to work well under pressure and deliver high-quality support.

Additionally, my tenure as a Process Executive at Personive and a Management Trainee at Hua Fu Xuan Pte. Ltd. equipped me with the ability to resolve issues promptly, manage logistics, and negotiate effectively. These experiences, coupled with my roles in various educational and administrative capacities, have provided me with a well-rounded skill set that is highly applicable to a teaching position.

Graduated last 2013 with Bachelor of Arts in Theology Major in Christian Education
