Head of Inclusion is responsible to lead, manage, develop and maintain high quality Inclusion provision which enables quality teaching, excellent learning outcomes and success for all pupils.
The Inclusion Leader will promote and support the identification, planning, target setting, delivery and monitoring associated with these children as well as any who are raising concerns in these areas.
A Head of Education and Inclusion is responsible for overseeing and promoting inclusive education practices within a school or educational organisation. They work to create an inclusive learning environment that supports the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs or disabilities.
Experience
1- Identifying students who need support through classroom visits, and the transfer case may also be studied by the teacher or guardian.
2- After recording observations and collecting academic reports from teachers, communication is made with the guardian.
3- Explaining and clarifying the case in a professional manner to the guardian, which helps him accept the matter and cooperate with the school to provide a psychological and educational report.
4- The report must be studied carefully and then work to determine the individual educational plan with the participation of teachers and guardians.
5- Setting short-term and long-term goals.
6- The plan must be flexible and subject to modification.
7- Counting the numbers of gifted and talented students through the results of internal and international tests, as well as transfers made by the teacher or guardian.
8- Likewise, gifted and talented students need an individual plan to satisfy their abilities, prevent them from feeling bored, and to develop and invest in their abilities.
9- Communicate with relevant external institutions interested in the category of gifted and talented students.
10- Establishing a club for the outstanding and gifted at school to support their abilities.
11- Training all school teachers on how to deal with and support a student with special needs in the classroom, and training students inside the classroom to interact with a student with special needs.
12- Training shadow teachers on how to support the student and contribute to developing his skills.
13- Educating and training parents on early detection of cases, as well as how to help their children efficiently.
14- Providing continuous psychological support to parents.
