Lamya Ibrahem

I am DR Lamya Ibrahim, a professor of clinical pathology, clinical chemistry, hematology and molecular pathology at Mansoura University. I have 24 years of total experience in the field of clinical pathology, clinical chemistry, hematology and molecular pathology. I completed my MBCHB from the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt in 1997. I finished my master’s in clinical Pathology in 2003 and my PhD in clinical Pathology in 2010 at the Mansoura University, Egypt. 

I have been working in the UAE for 14 years. I have good experience in quality and accreditation (ISO, CAP, and JCI). I am active member at college of American pathologist (CAP), American society hematology associations (ASH), European Hematology Associations (EHA) and Emirates Medical Association (EMA). 

I have good teaching experience as I am professor of clinical pathology for 24 years at Mansoura University, Egypt. Also, I worked for two years at Khwarizmi international college, Abu Dhabi. I have 25 international publications in the field of clinical pathology, hematology, clinical chemistry and molecular pathology.
