• Preparing Technical Queries from specifications, drawings and BOQ.
• Performing Material takeoff.
• Pricing material and labor costs of all BOQ items.
• Preparing price comparison sheets for each system and final cost summary.

Position Held: Planning and Design engineer

From 04/2017 to 04/2021

• Performing electrical calculations such as voltage drop, MV & LV cables & equipment sizing as well as equipment protection devices (fuses, breakers).
• Developing conceptual designs and produce detailed technical drawings (geographic and schematic layouts) using GIS and AutoCAD. Preparation of shop drawings/ As-Built drawings with timely revision.
• Designing MV and LV cable routing (Underground & Overhead).
• Preparing single line diagrams (Ground mounted and pole mounted) and schematic diagrams.
• Estimating electrical loads; selecting Electrical Equipment such as Transformers, Energy meter, Fuses, Circuit Breakers and cables.
• Providing engineering support to operation and maintenance teams when needed.
• Analyzing system failures and suggesting appropriate resolutions.
• Establishing Feeder load analysis and estimation.
• Preparing the Bill of Materials.
• Mitigating & resolving site issues.
