About Leonardo Mataruna:

Professor Mataruna has 30 years' experience coaching and 20 years teaching in higher education level. He is an UNESCO advisor, member of World Antidoping Agency (WADA) and Professor at Canadian University Dubai. He is also Journalist at Arabian Football League / Abu Dhabi Sport TV. 

Experience

Dr Mataruna starting teaching in the first 15 years at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Latter, became Officer in the Brazilian Navy and migrate to Coventry University in the UK, per 8 years. Parallel to the academic life he was coach of the Brazilian Olympic Committee attending 5 summer Olympic Games. He is responsible for some innovation in hte sport industry such as the strategic coach and the video scout at the Brazilian Judo Federation. In 2018, migrate to the Dubai for teaching in Master and Undergraduate level. He is helping several sport federations and companies in the region with consultancies and advising some governmental boards.
