As a Quality Assurance Engineer, I have experience designing and executing test cases for web, API, and backend systems, performing both manual and automated testing. I developed and maintained API automation scripts using Java and RestAssured, conducted REST API validation using Postman, and ensured data consistency and performance across multiple environments. I managed defects through JIRA and TestLink, analyzed API failures using Kibana and Splunk, and executed automated test runs via Jenkins and GitLab CI. Working within Agile/Scrum teams, I collaborated closely with developers to identify defects, verify fixes, and ensure seamless frontend–backend integration and high-quality releases.

Holds a B.Sc. (Honours) in Computer Science (Second Class Upper Division, GPA 3.4/4.0) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka (2020–2024), with a strong academic foundation in software engineering, databases, and system design. Also completed a Diploma in Software Engineering (Pearson Assured), strengthening practical and industry-aligned technical expertise. Successfully completed G.C.E. Advanced Level (Physical Science Stream), demonstrating a solid analytical and mathematical background.
