Mahrukh Waqas

My name is Mahrukh Waqas. I have done BS Hons. in Geography (equivalent to Masters) from Lahore College for Women University, Lahore, Pakistan. My minor subjects were Mathematics And Statistics.

I was member of my University's Student Council. I was selected as President of Geography Society. I arranged and managed many functions and activities as President. 

I had done a Social Action Project in 'Emergency Response', British Council, 2015.
I was trained by Rescue 1122 for Basic Life Support and then I gave BLS training to students at Lahore College for Women University, 2015-16.
I completed my Thesis on 'Water Quality and its impacts in Lahore Metropolitan City - A case study of Shadbagh', 2016

From 08/2016 – 07/2018, I worked as Primary Class Teacher at The Educators (Al Ahad Campus), A project of Beaconhouse School System, Lahore, Pakistan.

I taught Social Studies, English, General Science, Mathematics and Computer Science to 4th Grade. My main resposiblities were to prepare and deliver lectures to students, assign and correct homework, prepare and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress, attend Parent Teacher Meetings and discuss issues with parents, and follow all basic rules and regulations of the institute. i have also done office administrative procedures, e.g. 
preparing teaching materials, curriculum planning and outlines for courses.

From 11/2018 – 11/2019, I was Secondary Social Studies Teacher at Laurelbank Public School, Lahore, Pakistan. My main tasks were to prepare and deliver lectures to students, assign and correct homework,  prepare and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress and kept their records, attend Parent Teacher Meetings and discuss issues with parents, attend workshop training for teachers and participate in related activities, and follow all basic rules and regulations of the institute.

I have done my Matriculation and Intermediate in Science Subjects. I have 4 years Bacholars degree in Geography. I have 3 years' experience of teaching. I have done course in Office Management. 

I all those years, I worked as Society's President, Rescue Trainer, Co-ordinator, Primary Teacher, Secondary Teacher, and a researcher.
