Maimoona Abdullah

I have done Masters in English literature along with PGCEi, having four years teaching experience. I belong to Pakistan currently living in Abu Dhabi. Being a devoted and motivated personality, I have ability to deliver the best of performance on the task assigned. I've command over English, Urdu & Pashto languages, having good communication skills.

Having done PGCEi, my approach towards teaching and learning has become more critical and experiential. I have gained insight into multiple learning theories, teaching styles and techniques in accordance with critical and reflective practice. I have completed a short course of “Teach English with 21st Century Skills (4Cs)” that enhanced my language and communication skills more, enabling me to assist in language development, grammar, writing and reading comprehension, making me particularly useful in language-focused roles.

Currently, I’m working as a part time Language Instructor at Skill Boost Learning Centre (IELTS & PTE). I worked voluntarily at Repton School Abu Dhabi as Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant. Besides, I have 3 years teaching experience of Pakistan as well.
