Cashier 

Abu Dhabi Country Club (ADCC) Abu Dhabi (October 2021 to date).


 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct inquires to appropriate personnel and provides general assistance and information. 
  • Answer telephones, greet visitors, compile daily deposits, provide information, ascertain nature of business.
  • Create a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere
  • Processes admissions to public events. Receives registrations for recreation programs.
  • Oversee all reservations, payment, and tracking procedures, established for recreation facilities. 
  • Receive the visitors and answer questions, respond to inquiries refer, when necessary, to appropriate persons.
  • Promote all classes, activities, and services and encourage sales through full product and price knowledge of offered and available facilities within the club.
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers, other departments, guests, and other agencies. Assist Recreation Programmer with quarterly activities and brochure preparation such as contact Instructors. 
  • Ensure all the reception area is tidy and clean and that all materials e.g., newspapers, magazines, and advertising material is readily available
  • Issue and retrieve locker keys before and after use. 
  • Assist with miscellaneous office tasks such as the use of the computer, typing, filing, mail handling, copying, maintaining records, compiling data, and other support tasks for the department.
  • Received payment as cash, credit cards, or automatic debits.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
  • Calculate the total payment received during the period, and reconcile this with total sales.
  • Prepare daily cashiering forms and operational forms.
  • Post charges in Zenoti software that may be incurred by guests and members and carry out correct accounting procedures.
  • Assist in the maintenance of records such as inventory, activity reports, monthly reports, receipts, minor financial accounts, cashiering, ID verification, memberships, program registration, court reservation, quarterly brochure work, and facility rentals.
  •  Train other employees in the use of the Zenoti system, as directed. 


 

Cashier 

Novel City Center Hotel (Four Star) Abu Dhabi (December 2017 to September 2021).


 

Responsibilities:

  • Received payment as cash, credit cards, or automatic debits
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
  • Calculate the total payment received during the period, and reconcile this with total sales.
  • Prepare daily cashiering forms and operational forms.
  • Handle account and cash effectively, efficiently, with integrity and proper accounting procedures.
  • Complete knowledge of menus and up-to-date information about specialties and menus.
  • Answer all phone calls promptly and efficiently, using the correct greeting.
  • Carry out proper cashiering procedures as set by hotel standards.
  • The ability to maintain a clean, neat, and orderly order taker cabin throughout service.
  • Reporting of any guest comments to the superior, completing the guest preference sheet.
  • Communicate to both internal and external customers in a polite, courteous, and constructive manner.
  • Follow safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies.
  • Participate in internal training and necessary meetings.
  • Maintain good working relationships with own colleagues and all other departments.
  • Actively promote the services and facilities to guests and suppliers of the Hotel.

  • Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, outlets, hotel services/features, and hours of operation.

Purchaser 

Pak Nemat Kadah Group of Restaurant Abu Dhabi (Sep 2016 to Nov 2017).


 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable, completing purchase orders 
  • Managing day-to-day transactions
  • Assisting the senior staff members with various tasks i.e., records and statements.
  • Posting daily receipts.
  • Propose improvements to the current purchasing system that will improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of doing business.
  • Collaborate with inventory control and sales to develop metrics for gauging inventory level needs and then maintaining those levels throughout the year.
