Maliha Ghazanfar

An experienced educator, having worked in the field since 2010. I have worked with prestigious schools such The City School, Beaconhouse and am presently serving at the College Section of Karachi Grammar School where I serve in both Teaching and Pastoral care. Besides this I have also served as Trainer for Language Communication with the Sindh Police. 
I am an avid learner myself with a Master's in English Literature, Bachelor's in Education, International Graduate Certificate in Education and a Bachelor's in Arts. Presently I am enrolled in M. Phil Education and hope to complete my degree this year. 
As part of my teaching experience I have served both as part of a team and in leadership capacities as subject teacher and subject lead. Having taught, English language, Global Perspectives, History and Pakistan Studies, I have an enriched experience in the teaching of social sciences. 
Besides the purely teaching related skills such as lesson planning, curriculum design, evaluation and measurement of assessments and content design; I am well versed with using technology in the classroom and in the planning of teaching. 
I am always looking for innovative and new ways to incorporate technology into the classroom. 
Constantly aspiring to better myself, I believe in life long learning and plan to continue on to a Ph.D in education.

I am presently serving as the HoD for Pakistan Studies which comprises of History and Geography. Besides this I also serve as a faculty for History O and A levels as well as Global Perspectives. I have during my career also taught English language. 

M.Phil degree in Education, my thesis is on the comparison of teachers teaching single versus multiple subjects. Prior to that I completed Master's in Literature, a Bachelor's in Education specialising in the teaching of History and English and and IGCE in teaching of History and English.
