When I'm not balancing budgets or reconciling accounts, you'll most likely find me at home enjoying some quiet time with my cats — they are my greatest source of comfort and joy. I'm a proud cat lover through and through, and there's nothing quite like unwinding after a busy day with my furry companions by my side.

I have always had a natural curiosity and love for problem-solving, which is perhaps why I gravitated toward a career in finance — there's a puzzle in every set of numbers, and I genuinely enjoy figuring it out. That same analytical mindset carries over into my personal life, where I love a good puzzle or brain teaser to keep my mind sharp.

At my core, I am a hard worker who takes pride in everything I do, but I also believe in the importance of balance — knowing when to push hard and when to slow down, recharge, and appreciate the quieter moments in life. My cats have certainly taught me that!

With over 14 years of experience in production accounting across the media and broadcast industry, I have built a career working on some of the world's most recognised film and television productions. My journey spans Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East, giving me a well-rounded and internationally informed perspective on production finance.

Most recently, I served as a Production Accountant Supervisor at the Middle East Broadcasting Company (MBC) in Dubai from 2020 to 2025, where I oversaw all aspects of financial operations including payroll, VAT compliance, bank reconciliations, multi-currency transactions, and financial reporting for major productions. Prior to that, I held a Senior Accounts Manager role at Image Nation Abu Dhabi from 2016 to 2019, managing general ledger entries, audit coordination, budget loading, and mentoring junior accounting staff.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a contract-based accountant across a wide range of high-profile international productions including Mad Max: Fury Road, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Homeland, among others — a testament to the trust and reputation I have built within the industry.

Throughout my career I have been proficient in ERP systems such as Oracle, Fusion, PSL, Eaze, and Vista, and I bring a strong foundation in IFRS standards, UAE tax regulations, and team leadership.

My educational background is focused on the practical and technical skills most relevant to finance and accounting in today's evolving professional landscape. I have completed advanced training in IFRS and Tax Standards through in-house professional development, ensuring my knowledge of international financial reporting and UAE tax regulations remains current and applied.

To complement my hands-on experience, I have pursued a range of certifications through LinkedIn Learning, including Financial Accounting, Project Management Foundations, and specialised modules in Budgets and Requirements. I have also completed Excel Essentials training, which supports my day-to-day financial analysis and reporting work.

Most recently, in February 2026, I completed a course in Leveraging Generative AI in Finance and Accounting, alongside an Introduction to Artificial Intelligence — reflecting my commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and embracing technology that is reshaping the finance profession.
