Mariya Latif

I am a UK qualified international family lawyer based in the UAE with extensive experience in complex financial and multi jurisdictional matters. 

I hold a Bachelor’s LLB degree from City University of London and completed my Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London. 
 

With 7 years of experience in the legal field, and nearly 5 years in family law specifically, I specialise in all aspects of matrimonial and private children law, with expertise in high net worth and complex financial settlements both in the UK and across the Middle East. 

I have also developed a profound understanding of the UAE legal systems, in particular with regular matters before the Abu Dhabi Civil Court and am well equipped in serving the expatriate community on the intricacies of their family matters. My experience enables me to provide tailored legal advice on cross border disputes helping individuals navigate their unique circumstances with confidence. 
 

I am fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi and currently in the process of learning conversational Arabic. 
 

I have extensive knowledge of Islamic and Asian family issues, and have worked with clients from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds during my time working for international family law practices.
