My name is Matteo Traù and I’m living in Dubai since 2013. I am a result-oriented management professional with 12 years of cross-functional project experience from proposal development through project execution. Open to find new and innovative approaches to resolve business and project challenges. I have excellent organizational and analytical capabilities and I am dedicated to develope high performance teams.

My academic experience include:

• Master of Science in Electronic Engineering (MScEng)
• Master in Business Management (MBM)
• Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP), since 2018.

In Dubai, working for Tecnosistemi (company in Dubai fully owned by IMESA SpA) with the role of Proposal Manager, I managed and executed the following activities working in autonomy and coordinating the teams:

• sales activities, business development and qualification processes related to MV and LV switchboards and containerised electrical substations;
• analysis of the RFQs and development of the proposals for complex items (containerised electrical substations) dealing with various suppliers and with the clients;
• project management activities for the projects directly awarded in Dubai and support activities for the project awarded in Italy. All the projects were in Oil& Gas sector with destination Iraq. The main Clients were ENI, Weatherford, Una&C, DNO, Exterran, SOC, MNR (Kurdistan), Dragon Oil, Petrogas, Petrofac.

In 2019 I joined Duplomatic Middle East a branch of Duplomatic SpA, based in Italy. With the role of Project Coordinator, I worked in the UAE Pavilion in Expo 2020. Duplomatic was the subcontractor for the hydraulic system responsible for the movement of the 28 wings on the roof of the pavilion. We designed, manufactured, installed, tested, operated the system and starting from the opening of Expo till now we maintained the system as well.

During this period, I was in charge of:

• project management;
• procurement management;
• site activities coordination;
• document management;
• T&C management
• maintenance management
